TAMPA, FL - May 1, 2003 - HealthPlan Services, Inc. (HPS) is pleased to announce that it has finalized an arrangement with The American Veterinary Medical Association Group Health and Life Insurance Trust (AVMA GHLIT) to provide non-claims administrative, sales and marketing services for 34,000 association members covered under the AVMA GHLIT insurance plans.

Since 1957, AVMA GHLIT has been successfully providing quality health, life, disability and other lines of coverage to its members nationwide. Beginning June 1, 2003, HPS will provide all billing, enrollment, eligibility, renewals, non claims customer service, underwriting, claims reporting, sales and marketing for all new and inforce members.

The AVMA GHLIT will continue existing partnerships with Harrington Benefit Services for claims administration, New York Life, FirstHealth and Advance PCS.
